The American Heaft Association BLS for Healthcare Providers teaches CPR skills for helping people of all ages (including doing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag mask device and using oxygen), using an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction.

This class is intended for participants who provide health care for patients in a variety of settings. This class is designed for people who need a higher level of training such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency room technicians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, nursing students, and police officers.
